106 and Spark Show Debuts With Host The Cannabis Cutie Executive Produced By Problem

LOS ANGELES – April 10, 2022 – “106 & Spark” a brand new 20-minute countdown entertainment talk show blending music discovery and celebrity interviews with pop culture trends, cannabis education, entertainment tid-bits and popular Black Culture, launched today exclusively on ALTRD.TV network, streaming into households everywhere.

Executive produced by Grammy-nominated hip hop star and entrepreneur Problem, and hosted by social media personalities Tammy Pettigrew and Sean Chris Spooner, “106 & Spark” serves up a sweet spin on the countdown format for today’s modern audience. Its debut season features a range of celebrity appearances, surprise studio visits, and countdowns for the cannabis culture.

“This show means everything to me! We had a lot of fun filming it on location in Studio City to make sure we’re really capturing the vibe. I just felt that viewers today want shorter film formats when it comes to the culture. I was inspired by the world around me in Los Angeles, and the explosion of legal cannabis in the United States. There’s no TV series to watch right now that’s upbeat and cool. Also, anyone in the business knows mainstream social platforms push down content related to cannabis, so we set out to fill that void with 106 & Spark at ALTRD.TV,” said Problem.

“Working with Problem and ensuring that ALTRD.TV will be the home of 106 & Spark has been a personal passion project of mine. Our audience demands authentic, culturally relevant and groundbreaking content. Problem has produced something special and unique with Tammy and Spoon as the visionaries and hosts behind the show. We know 106 & Spark will become a hit and staple of the network, and are looking forward to many more seasons with them,” said ALTRD.TV Chief Executive Officer Joshua Otten.

The original series goes beyond cannabis culture into the world of music and film with its recurring “Music Video of the Week” segment, showcasing videos from Problem’s hit song “4 The Low” with Wiz Khalifa, to Kaytranada’s latest “Look Easy” with Lucky Day. Each episode also includes a weekly “Top 5” countdown series where Tammy and Sean countdown the best of cannabis culture, ranging from strains to products and brands.
