MJBizCon Unveils Exclusive New Collaborations

MJBizCon, the largest and most established cannabis business expo in the world, has unveiled exciting new collaborations that promise to deliver unique, first-time experiences for attendees. These collaborations aim to elevate the conference experience, offering in-depth education and exclusive networking opportunities.

Ganjier: The Cannabis Sommelier Certification Program

One of the standout collaborations is with Ganjier, The Cannabis Sommelier Certification Program. This partnership introduces the Ganjier Product Specialist (GPS) program to MJBizCon ticket holders. The GPS program is akin to Level 1 Sommelier training in the wine industry, providing comprehensive online training and credentialing. The program covers everything from cannabis products and consumption methods to quality preservation techniques and assessment best practices.

The Ganjier program is already in use by leading cannabis companies such as Kiva Brands, Cookies, Curaleaf, and Ascend Wellness. Now, thanks to this collaboration with MJBizCon, industry professionals can complete the 10-hour online program and participate in unique in-person experiences at the conference. These include taking the final exam on December 5, interactive offsite tastings, aroma training, networking, and a graduation celebration.

Attendees can register for one of three combo packages starting at $399, which includes an Expo + Ganjier Product Specialist program. Tickets are available to the first 300 registrants on the MJBizCon website.

Blunt Brunch: Empowering Women in Cannabis

MJBizCon is also partnering with Blunt Brunch, a premier event for leading women executives and professionals in the cannabis industry. For the first time, Blunt Brunch will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center alongside the MJBiz Women in Leadership Forum. This collaboration will occur on December 3, providing a powerful platform for women in the industry to network, share their achievements, and discuss future ambitions.

Adelia Carrillo, Co-Founder of Blunt Brunch, expressed her excitement about the partnership: “We are incredibly proud to partner with MJBizCon this year, combining our efforts to elevate and empower women in the cannabis industry like never before. This collaboration during MJBizCon Week is a powerful testament to the strength and influence of women, providing an unparalleled platform for their voices, achievements, and ambitions.”

Tickets for the pre-show forum, which include access to Blunt Brunch, can be purchased on the MJBizCon website.

A New Era for Cannabis Education and Networking

Max Simon, CEO of Green Flower & Ganjier, emphasized the importance of robust cannabis education: “Cannabis is remarkably complex, which is why there is broad consensus that more robust and focused cannabis education is essential to the health and success of our industry. Bringing this brand-new, Level 1 training program to MJBizCon, the nucleus event of the industry, is a great occasion to keep educating the industry in real time.”

MJBizCon’s SVP, Emilie Lewis, highlighted the significance of these strategic partnerships: “By strategically partnering with esteemed cannabis brands such as Ganjier and Blunt Brunch, this underscores our commitment to establishing a premier platform for education and networking within the cannabis industry. This initiative not only reinforces our dedication to fostering credible and impactful industry relationships but also enhances our ability to serve as a comprehensive resource for professionals across the entire spectrum of the cannabis sector.”

Meet the Ganjier Team

Attendees can meet the Ganjier team at the next MJBiz LinkedIn Live event on Friday, August 9. This event will provide further insights into the GPS program and how it benefits cannabis professionals.

Conclusion

MJBizCon’s new collaborations with Ganjier and Blunt Brunch are set to provide unparalleled experiences for attendees, focusing on education, empowerment, and exclusive networking opportunities. As the cannabis industry continues to grow and evolve, these partnerships ensure that MJBizCon remains at the forefront, offering valuable resources and connections for professionals across the sector.
