Cadre’s LA Dispensary: New Benchmark in Cannabis Social Equity

Opening Sept 2nd, Off The Charts Powered by Cadre Sets a New Benchmark in Social Equity

A dynamic new player, Cadre, steps into the Los Angeles cannabis market, not just as another brand but as a force committed to shifting the landscape toward equitable opportunities. Founded by Madison Shockley, Cadre’s mission extends far beyond retail; it seeks to cultivate a social equity supply chain that ensures ownership for other equity operators. Partnering with established brand Off The Charts, their collaborative dispensary will open its doors on September 2nd at 615 East 61st Street, Los Angeles.

A Pioneering Collaboration

The alliance between Cadre and Off The Charts epitomizes the kind of partnership that has the potential to redefine cannabis retail. While Cadre brings its commitment to social equity, Off The Charts contributes its extensive network of dispensaries across California. The result? A uniquely positioned retail experience that leverages both brand’s strengths.

The Grand Opening: A Melting Pot of Culture and Community

Scheduled from 11 am to 5 pm, the grand opening will be an eclectic gathering of community, cannabis brands, and cultural influences. From fashion and food to art and music, the celebration promises something for everyone. A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony will kick off the event at 11 am, followed by a variety of activities aimed at enriching community engagement.

A Stage for Artistic Expression

At the heart of the grand opening festivities is an exclusive performance by the artist LaRussell. Known for his unique musical talent and cultural influence, LaRussell’s involvement adds another layer of depth to the event. “I’m deeply honored to be performing at the grand opening of Off The Charts Powered by Cadre. Their growth has been nothing short of inspiring, and I’m thrilled to contribute to this historic moment,” says LaRussell.

A Catalyst for Change

After a challenging journey that included legal battles and social advocacy, Madison Shockley’s vision is becoming a reality. Madison, formerly associated with the Social Equity Owners and Workers Association (SEOWA), has already made strides in the social equity cannabis space.

Making Waves in the Industry

The brand launched on June 19th during the Leimert Park Juneteenth Festival, in partnership with Weedmaps and Gorilla Rx. Moreover, Cadre collaborates with social equity cultivator, manufacturer, and distributor Jason McKnight from Greenlabel Rx, creating a holistic approach to product quality and social impact.

Looking Forward

As the doors open to Off The Charts Powered by Cadre, the brand stands poised to enact meaningful change in an industry that has long been skewed away from social equity. With its focused product line and alliance with key industry players, Cadre is an emerging figure in the shifting landscape of the cannabis market.
