Ricky Williams, Calvin Johnson, Rob Simms, & Vic Mensa To Join Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference

The Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference, a top event for the cannabis industry, has recently announced a star-studded lineup of athletes and musicians for its upcoming conference. Headlining the event will be football legends Calvin Johnson, Rob Sims and Ricky Williams who will be talking about the role of cannabis in promoting health and wellness. They will lead a session on how a passion for relief has driven these athletes to build consumer loyalty.

Chicago rapper and singer Vic Mensa will also make an appearance in a session titled Cannabis, Music, and the Next Generation. Mensa is the owner of the 93 Boyz line of cannabis products, which is the first black-owned brand to hit the shelves in Chicago. Additionally, the conference will feature a keynote discussion by champion fighters Mike Tyson and Ric Flair about their Tyson 2.0 partnership.

The conference will also celebrate diversity and showcase the achievements of the most innovative companies in the cannabis industry. Benzinga has partnered with Women Grow, an organization that connects, educates, inspires, and empowers women in the cannabis industry. In support of this partnership, eight women-owned cannabis businesses will have their sponsorship fees waived, and several more women-owned brands will be showcased in the exhibit hall at no cost. These companies include House of Saka, 40Tons, Black Buddha, Ciencia Labs, Garden Society, MAKR House and House of Puff.

The conference will also feature the inaugural Benzinga Cannabis Awards Ceremony, where the winners in 32 categories will be revealed. A list of finalists was recently released and the awards ceremony will be held on Monday, September 12th at 7:00 p.m.
