When Carmelo Anthony steps into a space, he does more than make an entrance—he shifts the atmosphere. Now, the Hall of Famer is bringing that same energy to cannabis with the debut of STAYME70, a brand that doesn’t just carry his name—it carries a mission. Pronounced “Stay Melo,” STAYME70 isn’t a celebrity cash grab. It’s a purpose-driven brand anchored in equity, cultural connection, and authenticity.

STAYME70 Makes Its Debut at The Travel Agency

On April 17, the city of New York witnessed a different kind of Melo moment. At The Travel Agency’s Fifth Avenue dispensary—NYC’s first adult-use shop on the iconic street—Carmelo Anthony pulled up to celebrate the official launch of STAYME70. Fans who purchased from the new collection were treated to VIP access, autographs, and photo ops while the Airwaves DJ series turned up the vibes.

More Than a Brand. A Movement.

STAYME70’s foundation is built on a real blueprint: create high-quality cannabis while moving the industry forward—especially for Black and Brown communities that have historically been locked out of the game. Melo isn’t doing this solo. He partnered with cannabis trailblazer Jesce Horton and creative powerhouse Brandon Drew Jordan Pierce (aka Beedy). Together, they’re pushing forward a shared vision rooted in culture, design, and equity.

From branding to strain selection, STAYME70 brings the same precision and passion Melo brought to the league. It’s about staying cool under pressure, staying grounded in purpose, and staying connected to community—hence the name.

Equity in Action

While other brands talk the social equity talk, STAYME70 is walking it with intention. The brand prioritizes working with BIPOC-owned partners across its supply chain. From cultivation to creative, this launch is a reflection of what happens when Black excellence is given space to lead. The Travel Agency was the perfect partner to roll this out—known for its elevated retail experiences and intentional community-based programming, they helped bring STAYME70’s vision to life across all three NYC dispensary locations.

Celebrating 4/20 the Right Way

This moment also lined up with The Travel Agency’s “High Neighbor” series—a weeklong immersive celebration reimagining suburban nostalgia through a cannabis lens. Carmelo’s appearance anchored the campaign, drawing hundreds of fans into a space that felt like a block party mixed with a cultural ceremony. It was a collision of sports, legacy, lifestyle, and cannabis—all in one room.

NYC Sets the Standard

As cannabis continues to evolve in New York, moments like this remind us where the culture lives. The fact that a brand like STAYME70 launched on Fifth Avenue—once a symbol of elite exclusion—is poetic justice. We’re watching the walls of the industry being broken down and rebuilt by the very communities that were locked out. And Carmelo is at the front of that movement.

What’s Next for STAYME70?

This isn’t a one-off product drop. STAYME70 is coming with a long-term game plan. Expect curated strain collections, thoughtful design, collaborations with equity operators, and even more city activations. This brand is built to grow.

Whether you’re here for the culture, the flower, or the movement—STAYME70 is something worth watching.
