Cookies Delves into Tobacco with 22nd Century Group Partnership

Breaking New Ground in Tobacco

Cookies, a global leader in the hemp/cannabis industry, is set to make waves in the tobacco sector through a pioneering three-year exclusive license and distribution agreement with 22nd Century Group, Inc., a leading biotechnology company. This collaboration comes as consumer demand for CBD products skyrockets, urging the development of innovative, high-margin, and high-velocity solutions.

A Bold Step Forward – Cookies 22nd Century Group Partnership

As per the words of James A. Mish, 22nd Century’s CEO, the partnership represents a groundbreaking stride in the tobacco industry. Offering Cookies a single-source, national solution for their extensive CBD product line, 22nd Century’s vertically integrated approach proves to be unmatched. Parker Berling, President of Cookies, shares the enthusiasm for this venture with 22nd Century Group.

Collaboration from Production to Shelves

Encompassing all Cookies branded non-Delta-9 THC, hemp-derived consumer goods, the agreement covers ingredient sourcing, white-label manufacturing, and retail distribution. GVB Biopharma, a 22nd Century company, will play a significant role, manufacturing more than half of Cookies’ non-Delta-9 cannabinoid sales.

Synergistic Sales and Marketing

The partnership combines 22nd Century’s seasoned CPG sales team with Cookies’ powerful marketing and advertising framework, creating a potent force for nationwide product distribution. Integral to this strategy are Berner’s direct advertising on various platforms and Cookies’ innovative creative development studios.

Broadening Market Horizons

Aiming for approximately 60,000 retail stores, including independent retail, discount tobacco outlets, and vape shops, the sales team seeks to extend Cookies’ presence in non-recreational states. Additionally, the products will be available on the Cookies e-commerce website, catering to an even wider audience.

A New Direction for the Future

John Miller, President of Tobacco Products at 22nd Century, acknowledges Cookies’ products as an ideal addition to their FDA MRTP authorized VLN® offerings. The collaboration between these two industry giants serves as a cornerstone brand, paving the way for a new era in the hemp/cannabis and tobacco markets.
