Hip Hop Icon Cam’ron Launches Cannabis Line “Pynk Mynk” in Los Angeles

On Thursday, Cam’ron, a hip hop icon from the Harlem group Dipset, launched his cannabis line “Pynk Mynk” in Los Angeles. The cannabis is a light green color with pink accents and is high in trichomes. It is a sativa hybrid with a sweet citrus and spicy woody aroma that provides an energetic high. The cannabis is grown and produced by GFive Cultivation, a minority- and family-owned cannabis cultivation based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Cam’ron chose the name “Pynk Mynk” for his strain because of his love for the color pink and mink coats. The cannabis is legal in some states on the west coast, such as Washington State, Oregon, Colorado, and Nevada, but Cam’ron is looking to expand his line into the east coast market as well.

The rapper plans to rollout edibles in the future, but he believes that they need to take things one step at a time. In addition, he plans to release a project in December, featuring about seven songs. However, he does not intend to release an album until after COVID because he would like to tour and promote his last album Purple Haze 2.

Cam’ron intends to expand his cannabis line to every place where it is legal, partnering up with the right people to make it happen. Currently, he plans to hit Colorado, Oregon, Washington State, and Arizona next, with plans to expand to Michigan, Illinois, and beyond.
