Legendary Rapper Rakim Launches Cannabis Brand, Higher Frequency Flower

Legendary New York rapper Rakim has recently joined the growing number of hip-hop artists venturing into the cannabis industry with the launch of his own cannabis brand, Higher Frequency Flower. The company’s unique product line will debut on June 24th from 12-4 pm at the Josephine and Billie’s smoking lounge located at 1535 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Los Angeles.

Rakim, whose real name is William Griffin Jr., stated in a press release that Higher Frequency Flower was created to help artists and deep thinkers explore and expand the universal connections that form the foundation of their creative process. The brand’s objective is to curate each strain and introduce new cultivation techniques and technology that will take cannabis cultivation to the next level.

Higher Frequency Flower’s product line, known as the Higher Frequency Soul Flower Collection, consists of five different options, each with its unique frequency, ranging from 174 Hz (Relax + Relieve) to 963 Hz (Oneness + Awareness). According to the brand’s website, the product line aims to explore the expansive effects of these five universal frequencies and curate specially selected genetics to amplify each tone’s vibrational energy. Josephine and Billie’s smoking lounge is the first shop to carry this unique collection.

As a member of the hip-hop duo Eric B. & Rakim, the rapper was widely known for their hit songs such as “Paid in Full,” “Follow the Leader,” and “Don’t Sweat the Technique.” The duo was active in the late 80s and early 90s, releasing only four albums before breaking up.

Rakim is just one of the many hip-hop artists who have joined the cannabis industry, seeing it as an opportunity to create something unique and to provide a product that reflects their values and interests. Higher Frequency Flower is distributed by the Black Market Group and offers a fresh perspective on cannabis cultivation, taking it to a whole new level.
