Luka Brazi & Alexis Major New Cannabis Brand Partnership: Cookies & Gumbo

International cannabis lifestyle brand Cookies and trend-setting cannabis company Gumbo are coming together to bring a new cultivar to all Cookies and Lemonnade locations across California. The exclusive Madison Square Gumbo cultivar represents the first of many collaborations between Cookies and Gumbo. The hybrid of Cookies & Cream x Secret Weapon has euphoric, uplifting effects and a fruity, earthy flavor and aroma.

Cookies Co-Founder and CEO, Berner, is proud to launch Gumbo on the recreational market. The company was drawn to Gumbo’s dedication to doing things right and the purpose behind the brand. Gumbo’s founders, Karim Butler and Alexis Major, started the company to nurture community-based wealth through creativity and culture, and to help people achieve ease and wellness through high-quality cultivars and the power of cannabis. As one of the first Black-owned cannabis companies in New York, Butler and Major hope their continued success will inspire others within the community to pursue ownership.

Gumbo’s future launches will include signature strains such as Jambalaya and Ghoulies, which have received endorsements from musicians like Meek Mill, Migos, Dave East and Fabolous. As part of the Cookies family, Gumbo will join other renowned brands like Lemonnade, Run The Jewels, Collins Ave, Powerzzzup, Grandiflora and Minntz.

The Madison Square Gumbo cultivar will be available in eighths and pre-rolls at Cookies and Lemonnade stores in California, starting Friday, Nov. 11 at Cookies Hayward, Saturday, Nov. 12 at Cookies Maywood, and Monday, Nov. 14 at all Cookies and Lemonnade stores in California.

Cookies has been a well-respected player in the cannabis industry for the past decade, and the new partnership with Gumbo is set to continue this legacy. The collaboration between Cookies and Gumbo is expected to bring high-quality cultivars and a unique experience to consumers, while staying true to the culture. The launch of Madison Square Gumbo is highly anticipated and is expected to be the first of many successful partnerships between Cookies and Gumbo.
