Giovanni Paul explains why “My CBD Organics” CBD is superior to others, the importance of CBD intake and much more!

BCM: How has the New Year treated you so far?

Giovanni Paul: So far so good. A lot of planning and trying to build out a road map.

BCM: CBD still isn’t legal in every state. Do you see that changing soon?

Giovanni Paul: CBD is federally legal nationwide. However, the states still have the jurisdiction to make their own legislation. So, there are certain counties within states that have their rules and regulations, but there is definitely progress. Think of it like the prohibition of alcohol. If you can see every year more and more states are legalizing cannabis recreationally. It’s coming. We are a few years out, but it’s definitely coming.

BCM: What is the biggest difference between CBD and medical marijuana, and furthermore the difference between your CBD and medical marijuana?

Giovanni Paul: CBD is chemical compound in the cannabis plant. CBD is not marijuana. In simple terms, it’s just like grape juice and wine both come from grapes, and both have health benefits. CBD and marijuana, both come from the cannabis plant, and they both have health benefits. But too much wine will make you drunk, but there is no amount of grape juice that will make you drunk. So, what I’m getting at is, marijuana will make you high, but intaking CBD won’t. That’s the difference between CBD and medical marijuana.

What makes our CBD product stand out is the quality that we put out is unmatched and that’s what makes us the best. The is quality in everything we do and how we do it when we’re producing the end product. Quality of the product, it’s organically grown, it’s non-GMO, the quality of how it’s grown. Our farmers, we have relationships. These are not farmers who are just getting into the space. These are farmers that have been harvesting for years. So, the experience is there. The quality of who is selling the quality product to the consumers… our product is only sold in our stores through trained reps. Part of that process is to maintain the integrity because they are tons of products out there, and we don’t want to get clouded with that. And quality assurance. All of our products come with COA; which is an acronym for, certificate of analysis. That provides a third-party independent lab result that’s testing for the purity of the product and the potency of the product.

BCM: CBD is very popular right now. With that being said, many companies are trying to cash out by just putting out any type of CBD product. How important is it for consumers to do independent research before selecting a CBD oil to intake?

Giovanni Paul: That’s a great question. Right now, education is at the heart of everything we do. We’re educating to change the stigma about CBD. We’re working with everyone from oncologist to chiropractors who have already partnered with us. So, education, consumers need to educate themselves as well as advocates need to spread the word. That’s what we’re trying to do to inform. You’d be surprised how many customers we have coming in saying they bought some CBD, and they are ready to give up on it. But they were just ill-advised or misinformed on how to take it, what to take, what product to take for certain conditions. So, education is the key.

BCM: What results can someone expect from using CBD oil?

Giovanni Paul: One thing that I want to highlight that is a misconception is… anyone who is well or unwell can use CBD. A lot of people don’t know that. They think that it’s only for an ailing issue. CBD is used for preventative and used for maintaining balance in the body, on your skin and in your mind. So, some of the most common uses are anxiety, arthritis, auto-immune, anxiousness for pets, and people. The benefits of CBD are just countless.

BCM: It did wonders for my puppy on New Year’s Eve with all the fireworks going on for sure.

Giovanni Paul: Yes! We get tons of people coming in for separation anxiety, thunderstorms, fireworks, and being in a car for long hours. It does wonders.

BCM: Let me play Devil’s Advocate with you real fast. How do you respond to a person that says, CBD is just a fad much like some of the other health serums of the past and will eventually disappear?

Giovanni Paul: Well, CBD will never just come and go because CBD has been here. It’s nothing new on the market or to the market, its just the knowledge is new and the widespread of the knowledge is just starting to gain some legs and momentum. The FDA has a formulated patent for over 16-years. Former President Obama in 2013 allowed 5-states to harvest and conduct research. Fast forward 5-years later, President Trump signed it into the farm bill making it federally legal. So, this is nothing that just came about. This is something that’s been around for years and it’s here to stay. It’s really the alternative to medicine. It is natural. There aren’t any known side effects and right now we’re seeing a great response of people being weened off of opioids. Not to make any medical claims, but we are seeing people who are being relived from pain of cancer to a slew of issues that are out there. It’s here to stay. It’s not going anywhere. It’s been here for over a decade.

BCM: African American and minorities in general are usually skeptical when it comes to things like this. Do you feel it’s important for African Americans to become involved in not only the use of CBD, but also becoming store owners and business owners of CBD products?

Giovanni Paul: I think it’s very important. Anything in the black community or minority community related to cannabis, has been associated with illegal activities. But growing up in my household and my community, I grew up on herbal remedies and oils were the go-to solution prior to using any pharmaceutical solutions. One, it’s very important because it’s been here since the day of time, we have always been involved in it in some form or fashion. The government regulations, it’s definitely kept us away and out of the industry. But now that it’s becoming legalized and widespread, we need to basically capitalize on that on the mainstream side. Also, the government need to provide some relief because the hands of time are changing and now, they are allowing it. there are a lot of people who have been impacted in the past with criminal charges who will also need to get some relief to get involved. We definitely need to be a part of this.

BCM: What made you decide to franchise your company?

Giovanni Paul: Franchising allows us to bring superior products and wellness that CBD brings quickly to the cities and towns around the country. CBD has been here for decades and it is known to work. We want to be a part of that solution and a leader of that as well. Getting it out to the masses only makes for a healthier country.
