Yesterday White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about the statement from Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman (D), the Democratic nominee for a U.S. Senate seat, “It’s long past time that we finally decriminalize marijuana,” Fetterman said in a statement on Monday.

Jean Pierre responded “White House had nothing to announce regarding executive action on marijuana.”
Cannabis should be legal, records should be expunged, and the cannabis industry should be equitable for the communities targeted by its criminalization.
