Sarah Woodson comes from a long line of entrepreneurs, and business is in her DNA. After receiving two Paralegal certificates and an Associates of General Studies, she attended CU Denver to pursue a BA in Sociology and a Minor in Legal Studies. She founded one of the largest Pro-Se Bankruptcy & Divorce companies in the state of Colorado and created an equity program for women of color to start their own legal pro-se businesses.
In 2016, Sarah decided to take a new direction and focus on the cannabis industry. As a former consultant for Marijuana Industry Group, she saw the potential for cannabis tourism. She founded Kush & Canvases, a consumption-friendly cannabis art class that has been featured in several publications, such as Ebony Magazine, Business Denver, and DGO.

Sarah is a champion for social equity and African American representation in the cannabis industry. As the Legal Redress Chair for the NAACP Denver Chapter, she is working to promote diversity in the industry and create opportunities for underrepresented groups. She also sits on the Cannabis Social Community Committee for the city of Denver and serves as a Commissioner on the Denver African American Commission.
