Soulja Boy Joins the Ranks of Cannabis Entrepreneurs

Cotton Candy and She Make It Clap rapper Soulja Boy celebrated the big 31st b-day announcing his new business venture. According to Businesswire, the artist also known as Big Draco is partnering with Grizzly Peak to launch a brand of cannabis products.

The brand, Soulja Exotics™, will release 3.5 grams of medicinal quality weed. The first product, called “Grease Runtz,” will be an Indica strain.

The artist says his search for a premium and reliable cannabis producer was a journey. He’s glad to put his concepts and cultivation in the hands of Grizzly Peak. The company’s production includes growing cannabis indoors using coco fiber. The result is a richer and smoother inhale and exhale.

Big Draco told the press, “I have so much going on in my head, I use weed to help me relax better so I can focus on my music, videos and other entertainment businesses.”

He said of Grizzly Peak, “After trying many of their products, I was convinced that these guys are top growers who can consistently deliver the type of high I have been looking for. It was easy for me to decide to launch my exclusive, limited quantities of my weed products in collab with Grizzly Peak.”

Grizzly Peak is calling the initial product release a “limited quality drop.” But they are working with Soulja in the development of other innovative and exclusive cannabis products. Soulja Boy is personally involved in the R&D to ensure all products meet his expectations and will surprise and please smokers.

“Our relationship with Soulja Boy is part of our bigger strategy to connect with smokers through their interests and lifestyle,” Matt Yamashita, co-founder of Grizzly Peak, says of the partnership.

Currently, Grizzly Peak™ Soulja Exotics™ launched July 23rd. The new strain became available for purchase at exclusive cannabis dispensaries in Cali. That includes Harvest House of Cannabis, STIIIZY, Long Beach Green Room, Stinky Leaf & Firehouse, and Cookies.

Soulja Boy has boasted he is the first rapper to make this leap into legalized cannabis retail by growing his weed in coconuts.
