Will Snoop Light Up During the Halftime Super Bowl Show? Make Your Bet!

Get ready for Super Bowl LVI’s Pepsi Halftime Show. It features a smorgasbord of hip-hop and R&B entertainment. There will be performances from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J., and Kendrick Lamar.

But if you want to make money on the game, place a bet as to whether Snoop will light up his weed.

Bovada — a major playa in betting platforms — is taking bets on the odds of infamous toker Snoop lighting up while on stage. The “Yays” is at +250. That  means you’ll get $250 on a $100 bet

The snag here is though weed’s legal in Cali, the Super Bowl is the family-friendliest, richest-sponsored sports event of any year. That’s alongside NFL’s holding some of the most atrocious drug use policies in any sport.

Will the league let Snoop smoke on their turf? Being that we’re talking Snoop, is it safe to presume he’s going to tote anyway because a brotha never really cared in the first place?

Many believe there’s no way Snoop won’t get blunt-busy. But others believe the NFL’s stringent policies won’t allow Snoop to light up. We wouldn’t be surprised if the League’s already laid down its laws to all parties. The question is, will anyone listen?

The good Dr. Dre dropped the Pepsi Halftime lineup on his Gram last year. Roc Nation got tagged too. That means Jay-Z is in the mix.

Roc Nation did sign a deal in 2019 with the National Football League. The NFL happily joined forces with Mr. Carter, looking to fortify its social justice efforts and strengthen its stance in the music industry.

Jay and Roc Nation are the NFL’s strategists for live music entertainment, meaning Rock Nation and Jay-Z are de factoconsultants on events like the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

In a statement to HipHopDX, Dr. Dre said, “The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and to do it in my backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career. I’m grateful to Jay-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”

Jay-Z eventually came to say, “This is the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. This is history in the making.”

Besides what we’re calling “Will Snoop Do It?”, other bets in Bovada’s betting stable this year covers the winner of the coin flip, national anthem length, if Eminem gets censored, what jersey Drake will show up in, and even how many of the infamous Super Bowl commercials will have a dog in them? In fact, Bovada is currently boasting over 100 unique prop bets.

Don’t know what you’re thinking, the outcome of that show could be as exciting as what happens between the Rams and Bengals. At least the Janet nipple-slip was a complete surprise, hey, it was unintended. But this? Snoop’s going to be the center of a big story either way.
