Fox News Say Social Equity is Punishment for White Men in Seattle

During a Fox News Business segment, a Fox News reporter and conservative radio host Jason Rantz were talking on air about 87% of Seattle Licenses being owned by White men. Yet, it’s a punishment for them to include black owners.

Not only did he explain social equity wrong. He is okay with this narrative. Racism is real folks.

What are your thoughts on this ? Is #SocialEquity All bad?

The City of Seattle created a Race-Based Toolkit to lay out a process and a set of questions to guide the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, initiatives, programs, and budget issues to address the impacts on racial equity.

Now, more than ever, it’s important to support minority-owned cannabis businesses as one very, very small step in undoing the damage that the war on drugs has disproportionately done to the black community and other communities of color. Unfortunately, there are very few minority-owned marijuana businesses here in Washington state, and only two are black-owned.

Until then, here’s a list of businesses that you can support today.

PRODUCERS (GROWERS)

PROCESSORS (EXTRACTORS)

RETAILERS (DISPENSARIES)
